World's first mobile CI/CD: why Corenna was built for a phone
.apk / .aab or iOS .ipa is reachable from a phone, without a terminal, IDE, or laptop. This post explains why we made that choice and what it changes for Lovable, Bolt, v0, Capacitor, and React Native builders. The laptop is the bottleneck
If you ship apps from a no-code or low-code builder, the heaviest lifting usually happens in a browser on a desktop. But the moment you need a signed build, the workflow forces you back to a laptop: pull the repo, open Android Studio or Xcode, manage certificates, edit YAML, and babysit CI logs. For indie founders, digital nomads, and anyone who does real work on a phone or tablet, that friction kills momentum.
What "mobile-first CI/CD" actually means
- Mobile-first UI: every control is reachable on a 6-inch screen, with touch targets, native file pickers, and no pinch-zooming.
- Mobile signing: upload Android keystores and Apple .p12 + provisioning profiles from the phone's file system or cloud storage.
- Mobile trigger: select a repo, pick a platform, and tap build.
- Mobile observability: watch GitHub Actions logs stream in real time on a phone browser.
- Mobile artifact delivery: download the signed .apk, .aab, or .ipa directly on the device.
How it works under the hood
The interface is optimized for mobile, but the engine is the same one you already trust: GitHub Actions. When you tap build, Corenna writes or reuses a workflow in your repo, injects encrypted secrets, and starts a runner. The heavy compilation happens in the cloud — on GitHub-hosted Linux and macOS runners — so your phone battery and thermal budget are untouched. You get the same reproducibility and audit trail as desktop CI/CD, just with a UI that doesn't require a trackpad.
Security on mobile
Signing assets are encrypted at rest and injected into GitHub Actions as secrets. They are never stored in the repo, never returned to the client, and never written to build logs. The mobile browser uses HTTPS, the upload goes through a short-lived pre-signed URL, and the workflow in your repo is the source of truth — you can inspect, fork, or delete it at any time.
Who it's for
- No-code builders who ship with Lovable, Bolt, v0, or Replit and want an installable .apk without touching Xcode.
- Indie hackers who manage their whole stack from a phone or tablet.
- Agency founders who need to trigger a client build while away from a desk.
- Capacitor / Expo / React Native devs who want a CI/CD UI as portable as their codebase.
Try it from your phone
Open corenna.dev/mobile-cicd on iOS or Android, sign in, and start your first build. The first Android build is free, so you can verify the entire mobile experience before paying anything.
