Why Cursor builders use Corenna
Cursor helps you write the app. Getting it onto phones still means Capacitor, bundle IDs, signing certificates, provisioning profiles, keystores, Gradle and a Mac. Corenna does that part from your GitHub repo — it generates the Android keystore itself, and for iOS you make one trip to Apple's portal and upload the two files.
- Signed .apk to install, and .aab updates sent straight to Google Play
- Signed .ipa you upload to TestFlight / App Store Connect
- No Mac required — iOS builds on GitHub macOS runners
- Trigger & monitor builds from your phone — the Corenna dashboard is fully responsive
- Your source stays in your GitHub repo — you own it
- Encrypted keystores & Apple certs, never checked in
- Rebuild and release an update in a couple of taps

FAQ
What kind of Cursor project can Corenna build?
Cursor can write any kind of app, so it depends on what yours is. A web app with a build step, such as React with Vite, is wrapped with Capacitor at build time, with no changes to your code. Flutter apps and React Native apps, Expo included, are built with their own tools. The free repo check tells you which one you have and whether it is ready.
My code is on my computer. How does Corenna get it?
Through GitHub. Push the project to a GitHub repo — Cursor's Source Control panel can publish a folder to a new one — then connect that repo in Corenna. Keep working in Cursor, and push again whenever you want a new build.
Does a Next.js app work?
Yes, once static export is switched on: output: "export" in next.config. The app runs from files packed inside it, with no web server on the phone, so API routes and server actions have to live on a backend the app calls over the internet.
Do I need a Mac for the iPhone version?
No. iOS builds run on GitHub-hosted macOS runners. You do need an Apple Developer account ($99/year, paid to Apple) to sign and publish it.
